My1st Press Conference
That’s right kids, it only took me 26 mos to become a star. We had our first Angelman’s Awareness press release come out today in the Star Gazette. Thanks to John Cleary who went to bat for us with our Walk A Thon announcement. We are hoping that the other press folks will follow. He did a very nice job representing me and my pearly whites. So today momma finally, yes finally got my pics from Easter on line. Bout time! We’re going to see Maggie tomorrow wooo hooo. You’d better bet we’re gonna cause some major chaos. No sleep or bust. BTW We are over half way to our goal of $1000 for the Walk a Thon! Thanks all! Today’s food for thought (mmmm fooooood)… We all have something to smile about… so pass it on! Go ahead, log off the computer go outside and enjoy this beautiful day and pass it on…. go already… I’m waiting

Goodness, you’d think momma wasn’t getting any sleep. She’s taken all these photos of me the past two weeks and hasn’t bothered to post them. I must get her on that! She could’ve worked on it Saturday night while I was up playing all night. The nice weather has put me in overdrive! Saturday I got up at 8am to get ready for the egg hunt and swim lessons. I got to ride in my wagon at the hunt. I saw my friend Liam there and he shared his loot with me (thanks man!). You can see our awesome shots once mom puts them up. We then proceeded down market street where I had to greet everyone we saw. At the Soul Ful Cup Cafe I deemed myself official greeter while mom waited for coffee. Then we strolled down to Aniellios Pizzaria for some pie. It was too hot there and I needed a dip in the pool. So we showed up to the pool early and had a great lesson. I thought it was funny when mom blew bubbles and went under the water so I did it too. Ms. Lisa put a bubble float on me to help me be more stable. IT was way cool. I kicked to the toys and almost let momma let go of me. That night we all went to the Chinese buffet. They didn’t charge daddy for my dinner (note- when you see me come to a buffet- make my parents pay or you’ll go bankrupt). WOW all that food, oh my gosh, I can’t wait til I can eat the shellfish! Oh did I mention I had my first dip of peanut butter this week. Where have you been all my life. Mom was holdin out on me! This stuff is great! It makes awesome hair gel too. I’m chillin with Grandpa tonight, let’s see what kind of chaos I can stir up before the parents get home! - Nonnie
PS… we’re doing really well with the fundraiser. Be sure to check out my sweet fundraising site! Mom’s started a letter writing campaign to the political types to see if we can get annual recognition for Angelman’s. Who wouldn’t want to celebrate us yearly (I’m holding out for the daily celebration myself). Shout out to the Maggster… any run ins with the laundry lately? T minus 33 days to total Angel Chaos! Yeah baby!

I put my face in the water at the pool on Saturday, and it was cool! I really gave mom and Lisa a workout in the pool. After all that exercise I decided to give mom a break and napped for 3 hours (so did mom). It was so nice out on Sunday that we all decided to play in the back yard. Dad put together his birthday grill, mom de-pooped the back yard (Thanks scout!) and I got to ride in my wagon while nana pulled. Momma got a really icky sunburn from raking the yard… sure she lubes me up with that icky sunscreen but doesn’t put any on herself. That’ll show her. After my outdoor adventures I decided to nap at nana’s for oh 3-4 hours. And they were surprised when I decided to be up all night. Boy was I miffed when they made me go to bed. I must have cussed them out for an hour before I finally gave up and passed out. The nerve of them wanting to sleep for themselves. It’s not my fault that they have to go to the store while they should be napping with me. Well, on second thought maybe it was my fault since they were going to get food for MY tummy. Nah, I’ll blame it on the animals. They don’t mind, they love me regardless. BTW- Puddle, my 22 lb cat (yes he weighs more than me) makes a great pillow. Although his tail makes an awful binky! It’s supposed to rain this week, blah- that means no pokey pokey (the ice cream place down the street from nanas). But it does mean… mud puddles!!!!! Water- Ice Cream, what a dilemma. PS don’t forget we are walking for Angelman’s on May 20 in Montreal. Please go to my donation page at http://www.firstgiving.com/Ari to help us out. Thanks and smiles!
