Who needs sleep, no you’re never gonna get it…
Hi blog fans… I know I know I know, it’s been a while… but back on the ranch we’ve been kinda busy! I came down with west nile (j/k it was really a virus) about two weeks ago and the docs had all kinds of meds pumped into me. The worst case of zitz you’ve ever seen. I couldn’t possibly go out in public, so mom and I stayed home and ate bon bons. Just prior to my stay at home we did this eeg thing. It’s where this really cool nurse got me all drugged up and hooked me up to this crazy machine that took pictures of my noggin. You see they starved me then expected me to go to sleep on demand… yeah right… so they gave me this awful drink and that made me like a drunken sailor, but I gave it the old Ari fight and after a second dose, I gave it… to hungry to fight. So while they were looking at my noggin, I was dreaming of sundaes and pb sandwiches. Just as they were finishing up, Bam I awoke to find mounds of pb and pudding to be eaten. I devoured the whole thing and then went back down for a nice winter’s nap. Momma waited patiently for the results… taa daa normal… or so she thinks (the saga of my eeg to be continued in Rochester, coming soon to a blog near you)
So that song by the Barenaked Ladies ("Who needs sleep") is my new theme song. I find it quite irritating that mom and dad don’t like getting up with me at 3am for our parties. Mom is at her wits end. I just don’t understand why she thinks it is necessary to sleep for more than 4-5 hours? Works for me.
We’re going to see Maggie this weekend for her early Birthday bash. Her momma thought it would be a good idea to have it before Ella (her new sister) arrived. I agree, this way we don’t have to share our toys with her, I mean- what if she wants our binkies…
Daddy is off to West Palm to visit GG (great grandma), she’s not feelin so hot… so if you talk to the big guy upstairs give him a shout out for GG, we miss her and want her to get better soon.
I want to take an opportunity to thank all mom & dad’s friends and family who have helped them out lately, I don’t mean to tire them out so much, or make them worry, but since I know they have you all— 3am giggles aren’t so bad, right?
