Busy little Bee
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a month since the last post. Guess I need to start pulling some all nighters again! Yeah, mom and dad hit a breaking point and decided to bribe me to sleep with melatonin and pudding. Not sure what the melatonin does, but I likey the puddin! So now I get pudding with this chalky stuff before my bath, and wam… an hour later I hit the wall and I am out for the count. It’s not so bad, I guess… Hey did you hear… Magsters finally a big sister! Way to go gal… Ella it’s about time you came to play with us, way to make a girl wait! We had a rockin time up at Mag’s house for her birthday and totally thought Ella was coming then, but nope… Thank goodness she’s here now.
What else have we been up to???? Well, besides mom feeling in tip top shape now that she’s gettin a full 8 hours of sleep, she’s on advocacy central for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation. We’ve been touching base with the political folks to get awareness out there. Senator Clinton’s office has made contact with us and we are on their radar for a National Awareness Day bill sponsorship. Yeah baby!
We’re even starting a campaign for all extra exceptional kids. I told mom that we need a cool playground that I can chill at with my friends without giving her a heart condition… so here we are on our next letter writing campaign to our Mayor and Town Board Members to get better accessible equipment for all the kids. We’re talking sensory input areas, safe flat surfaces with lots of space for our "training wheels", water play, big slides for us and our rents, you name it you can play it! It’s a big endeavor because there’s lots of legaleeeze involved. But I’m letting momma handle all the big language and the adults… I’m just in charge of the fun! We’re keeping our fingers double crossed. Even if it’s a work in progress until it’s completed… we’re patient but we’re also persistent!
Hmmm what else have I been stirring up???? Oh well we’re movin on up… that’s right, I’m a big girl now so I am moving classrooms. Out of the baby field into toddler land. Good bye peach tree hello apple tree. They name the classes in my wing after fruit trees. Good thing too, cuz I likeee my fruit! Mom had a super long meeting with my new teacher. I think she was givin away all my secrets, but I’ve been hiding some up my sleeve. Sure I’ll miss the rug rats in the peach tree room, but I can’t wait to be with the girly girls again. Julia, Brooklyn, Stephanie, time to accessorize! Oh and the cutie patootie boys, Karter & Alex, oh sweet mischief we can make getting into the lunch goodies!
My bubbe came to visit last weekend. We had a photo shoot, check it out on the photo album page. It was a great time, I can’t wait til she visits again. Swimming should start up again soon, I’m anxious to get back into that big ole pool of watery goodness!
PSA time again… there’s gonna be some big transitions coming up in the next six months as I get ready for the big THREE YRS Old. I am going to be asking everyone who is advocating for me and my choices to get together for a couple of parties. At that time I will share my master plan with you and get your opinions and comments. You mission, should you choose to accept it is to help me out by being my adult voice… cuz everyone can’t speak Ari in the academia world. Give mom a shout out to see how you can get involved with THE GREAT PRESCHOOL ADVENTURE!
Well I guess I should probably say peace out, cuz it be gettin late! Stay tuned to the blog to find out more about the awesome adventures we have in store. I guarantee you won’t want to miss it. In the meantime… smile, it takes less energy than frowning! Ari to the Bethy Boo
